The Center for Theoretical Physics PAS (CTP PAS) in Warsaw invites applications for a
Tenure-track Group Leader position in the field of
quantum computing, quantum algorithms and machine learning.
The successful candidate will establish and lead an independent research group within the newly created
Center for Quantum-Enabled Computing (C4QEC), developing a research programme in the theory of quantum computing and quantum technologies.
🔬 Research areas include:
• Quantum algorithms and quantum simulation
• Quantum software, architectures and compilation
• Quantum machine learning
• Quantum error correction and fault tolerance
• Quantum complexity theory and computational advantage
• Verification, benchmarking and simulation of quantum systems
📍 Location: Warsaw, Poland
💰 Salary: PLN 20,750–24,250 gross/month
🧑🔬 Position: Tenure-track Group Leader (R2/R3)
🌐 Work arrangement: Hybrid
