Qtonic Quantum Corp has launched QShield, a software-only post-quantum cryptography solution designed to protect network connections between Linux endpoints. It utilizes NIST-standardized algorithms like ML-KEM-1024 and ML-DSA-87 to defend against “Harvest Now, Decrypt Later” attacks. QShield operates at the host layer, providing encrypted overlay tunnels without requiring specialized hardware, and has demonstrated high reliability in a 72-hour AWS endurance test.
