[qmeets talk] New method for neutrino detection: Coherently enhanced scattering of neutrinos from atomic nuclei
Abstract: Neutrinos are very difficult to detect elementary particles, leaving barely any trace even in huge experiments weighing up to many thousands of tons. Now, for the first time, it has been possible to observe these tiny particles with small detectors with only a few kilogram at a nuclear reactor using coherent elastic neutrino-nucleus scattering.
