Postdoctoral position in theoretical and computational AMO Physics at the Department of Physics, University of Haifa and HCTPA (Haifa Research Center for Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics)
The Department of Physics, University of Haifa and HCTPA seek to fill in a postdoctoral position in theoretical and computational AMO physics to commence in the academic year 2026/7 (starting date is 1/APR/2027 with some flexibility).
The successful research fellow joining the department and center will work on the physics of bosons in traps and cavities by developing and applying coupled-cluster tools for bosons and mixtures.The appointment is for 1+1 years pending a successful 1st year.
The salary is according to the University of Haifa post-doctorate scale.
The candidate should have a strong background and skills in theoretical and computational many-body AMO physics and/or of Bose-Einstein condensates and ultra-cold quantum matter or/and of electron-structure calculations with knowledge of coupled cluster.
