3 year PostDoc in Quantum Information at TU Darmstadt, Germany
The Quantum Computing Group at the Department of Computer Science of TU Darmstadt is a dynamic and growing research team exploring the intersection of quantum physics and quantum information. We focus on the theoretical side of quantum computing and communication, aiming to better understand the underlying principles and potential applications. Our group offers a collaborative and supportive environment for research and learning.
We are a broadly interested research group, working on topics including:
- Multipartite entanglement theory and quantum networks
- Foundational questions in quantum mechanics (e.g., Bell’s theorem)
- Classical and quantum causal models
- Schemes for universal quantum computation
- Quantum chemistry simulation
- Certification of quantum devices
Your Profile: The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in theoretical physics, computer science, mathematics, or a closely related field, and an excellent, proven publication record in at least one of the above-listed areas, with a focus on quantum information theory. Teaching and supervision experience is desirable but not required.
