Senior Adjunct (Assistant professor) in theoretical physics at IFPAN in Warsaw

This is a research-only position, with no formal teaching duties (although the opportunity to deliver courses for doctoral students is available and encouraged).

We are looking for a candidate who will conduct independent research either in the areas currently active within the Division (described on the above-mentioned website) or in their own field (while remaining open to collaboration with other members of the Division). The candidate is expected to build up a research group and secure external funding for its maintenance, as well as engage in or initiate organizational activities of the Division.
