Scientific Advisor – Quantum Benchmarking & Reproducibility
About this role
SoftQuantus is developing QCOS, a Quantum Control Operating System focused on benchmarking, reproducibility, drift analysis, and hardware reliability. We are seeking a PhD-level Scientific Advisor to help shape the scientific foundation of our platform.
Responsibilities
Design validation protocols for QCOS
Develop reproducibility standards for quantum experiments
Support publication-grade methodology and research output
Advise on hardware scaling evaluation and performance metrics
Review and validate benchmarking methodologies
Requirements
PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
Strong research track record with publications in quantum computing
Expertise in quantum benchmarking methodologies
Experience with noise modeling and error mitigation
Knowledge of experimental reproducibility frameworks
Hardware-aware quantum algorithm design experience
Nice to Have

Experience with quantum hardware (superconducting, trapped ions, neutral atoms)
