PhD position in analog quantum computing with neutral atoms for combinatorial optimization in Sherbrooke

The Quantum Quick Route (QQR) team at the Université de Sherbrooke is looking for a PhD researcher to join them starting in September 2024. The chosen candidate will be awarded competitive academic funding for 36 months (3 years). This project is the result of a partnership with the French company Pasqal, a leader in delivering neutral atom quantum computers with a strong footprint in Sherbrooke, Canada.
