Master, PhD and postdoc positions at Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea
Our Quantum AI and Metrology Laboratory at Hanyang University, Korea, is seeking highly motivated, qualified, and independent Master’s students, Ph.D. students, and Postdoctoral researchers in theoretical quantum information science.
Our research covers a broad range of topics, including (but not limited to):
* Quantum sensing and metrology
* Quantum computation and algorithms
* Quantum simulation
* Quantum artificial intelligence
* Quantum nanophotonics
* Other quantum applications
We offer a collaborative and interdisciplinary research environment, providing opportunities to work with both theorists and experimentalists at Hanyang University and other institutions across Korea.
▪ Master’s and Ph.D. Student Positions
The duration of study depends on the student’s performance to complete their dissertation:
* Master’s program: typically 2–3 years
* Ph.D. program: typically 4–6 years
All students will have opportunities for international collaboration and conference participation (oral or poster presentation) at least once per year, with additional opportunities based on performance.
All positions are open until filled.
▪ Postdoctoral Researcher Position
* Initial term: 2 years (1 + 1), renewable annually based on performance and funding
* Start date: flexible
Postdoctoral researchers are expected to work independently with minimal supervision. Prof. Lee provides research direction and broad ideas, while postdocs are encouraged to pursue detailed studies and innovative approaches within the scope of ongoing grants.
All postdocs will have opportunities for international collaboration and conference participation (oral or poster presentation) at least once per year, with additional opportunities based on performance. Postdocs may also supervise Master’s and Ph.D. students.
