International Summer School on Driven-Dissipative Many-Body Systems
As part of the DFG FOR5688 consortium and EU COST action CA24109, we are pleased to invite you to the International Summer School on Driven-Dissipative Many-Body Systems, to be held on 22–26 June 2026 at the brand-new CaleDo building, TU Dortmund.
The school is designed for doctoral students and early-career researchers, but participation is open to everyone, subject to available places. It aims to provide both a broad introduction and advanced methodological training in the rapidly developing field of open and driven quantum many-body systems.
The program will begin with foundational lectures on open quantum systems and atomic platforms, progressing to advanced topics such as field-theoretical approaches, Floquet engineering, quantum fluids of light, and tensor network methods. Connections to topology, non-equilibrium phenomena, and open quantum system dynamics will be emphasized.
