Dr. Julien Levallois becomes the new President of Swiss Quantum Hub
Dr Julien Levallois becomes the new President of Swiss Quantum Hub association.
He replaces Franck Franchin who acted as Founding President for the last 2 years. Franck will be still involved in the Quantum Community as a member of the Advisory Board of the association.
Julien Levallois is the Executive Director of the Science Innovation Hub, the pre-incubator of the Faculty of Science of the University of Geneva (UNIGE). He oversees the Hub’s strategy and operations and manages relationship with Hub’s key stakeholders and the innovation community.
He obtained a PhD in Solid State Physics of the University Paul Sabatier of Toulouse (France), followed by a postdoc and a Maître-Assistant position at the University of Geneva. He then held various positions related to innovation: project manager at the Geneva Creativity Center – now attached to the OPI – then license manager at the UNIGE technology transfer office.
He benefits from a strong network and a good knowledge of the scientific innovation ecosystem in Switzerland.
