Silicon Quantum Computing and Schneider Electric Advance Energy Grid Forecasting via Watermelon Quantum-Enhanced AI System
Silicon Quantum Computing (SQC) and Schneider Electric are advancing to Stage 2 of the Australian Government’s Critical Technologies Challenge Program, securing A$3.6 million. They are deploying hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models using SQC’s Watermelon™ system to improve energy grid forecasting. These models have shown an average 20% improvement in accuracy, with peak gains of up to 41%, and will be scaled across hundreds of residential locations in Australia.
