Abstract:
This work is devoted to the development of mathematical models and efficient computational methods for simulating the quantum dynamics of chemical reactions involving hydrogen based on finite-dimensional models of quantum electrodynamics. A set of methods for the efficient numerical solution of the Lindblad equation in high-dimensional open quantum systems is proposed: Hilbert space reduction, the point-row-column method, and block diagonalization. Based on a modified Tavis-Cummings-Hubbard model, a model of association-dissociation of a neutral hydrogen molecule is constructed, taking into account spin degrees of freedom. A simplified scalable model of hydrogen bonds in water molecule clusters is constructed based on a Lambda-shaped three-level system, for which dark states are identified. The dynamics of quantum correlations (von Neumann entropy and quantum discord) in multi-qubit systems is studied. This study is of great importance for mathematical modeling of multidimensional open quantum systems and studying the characteristics of quantum chemical models.
