The Quantum Science and Technology MSc programme at University of Nottingham is now open for applications for the 2026-2027 academic year.
JOIN US IN THE 2ND QUANTUM REVOLUTION!
This one-year programme provides an excellent gateway into the rapidly growing field quantum science. It offers opportunities to undertake placements with leading quantum science and technology companies, preparing graduates for careers in quantum-related research and industry. It also provides a strong foundation for progressing to a PhD in Quantum Science.
The programme is run jointly by the School of Physics and Astronomy and the School of Mathematical Sciences and has a theoretical and an experimental pathway offering modules on Quantum Information Science, Quantum Coherent Devices, Light and Matter, Quantum Metrology, Quantum Computing, Quantum Technology, Machine Learning, Scientific Computation and more.
The MSc will feature an exciting range of academic and industrial expert speakers, as well as career workshops with industry representatives. As a postgraduate student, you will be part of the vibrant Nottingham quantum community and be able to attend seminars, workshops, away-days and other activities.
