Postdoctoral Research Opportunity in Quantum Information and Atomic Physics at William and Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia
The Ilo-Okeke Theory Group in the Department of Physics at William & Mary invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position in theoretical quantum information science, many-body physics, and cold atomic systems.
Research topics include neutral atoms, collective light–matter interactions, open quantum systems, quantum many-body dynamics, quantum sensing, and quantum device technologies. The position is available immediately, the start date is flexible, and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field by the time of appointment, with expertise in quantum optics, quantum information, many-body physics, AMO theory, or open quantum systems. Experience with quantum many-body theory, quantum simulation, light–matter interactions, or neutral-atom platforms is particularly desirable.
Interested candidates are invited to apply via the official posting.
