Research fellow (m/f/d) in the field of quantum memories with warm atoms in microgravity (DR/060/26)
- Research on quantum memories with warm vapor
- Design, setup, test, and integration of a compact quantum memory module
- Characterization of the quantum memory and mobile measurement campaigns
- Experiments with the quantum memory in microgravity
- Tasks connected to personal scientific qualification

Research fellow (m/f/d) in the field of quantum memories with Bose-Einstein condensates in microgravity (DR/059/26)
- Research on quantum memories with cold atoms
- Design, setup, test, and integration of a compact Raman laser system
- Experiments with BEC-based quantum memories
- Research on new concepts to increase storage times
- Tasks connected to personal scientific qualification
Requirements
- Completed university degree in physics or a closely related field
- Strong background in atomic physics and/or quantum optics
- Experience in experimental work on atomic quantum memories
- Experience in the development and operation of laser systems for quantum optics applications
- Very good English skills, as well as programming and data-analysis skills, are desirable
