PhD/postDoc positions on AI4quantum at Shanghai, China

Our group at the John Hopcroft Center for Computer Science (https://jhc.sjtu.edu.cn), Shanghai Jiao Tong University, invites applications for PhD (open to non-Chinese citizens) and postdoctoral positions.

We seek candidates to pursue pioneering research at the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum information. Potential research directions include:

AI for the representation and characterization of complex quantum systems;
AI for quantum control and circuit compilation;
AI for quantum error correction.

As a member of the John Hopcroft Center, which is dedicated to exploring foundational theories and efficient algorithms for the future of computing, you will join a a top-50 global institution—Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
