Canada Impact+ Research Chair — ETS Montreal

ÉTS has been steadily building a quantum computing research powerhouse centered around a new quantum institute in downtown Montreal. We would be interested in recruiting mid- to late-career, active (!) researchers in quantum computing algorithms/tensor networks for a prestigious Canada Impact+ Research Chair, to be held with a faculty appointment at École de technologie supérieure which is part of the University of Quebec system.

The Chair provides between $500,000 and $1,000,000 per year for eight years (+ possible 4 year 50% extension). If you may be interested, you could contact Jacob Biamonte to answer questions informally.
